Dr. Tina Dongo Esq.
Dr. Tina Dongo Esq. is the Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Rise and Inspire Foundation. In her role, she is responsible for Human Resources, Programming, Compliance, Community Liaisons and Overall Operations.
Prior to founding Rise and Inspire Foundation, Dr. Dongo worked as an Environmental Protection Specialist with the Environmental Protection Agency where she executed and managed multi-million dollar grants, conducted quality control and technical reviews of survey research, and assisted organizations in capacity building. Other previous roles include working as a Managing Partner in a Business, and Environmental law firm. While in the role, Dr. Dongo advised and provided legal representation to individuals and community organizations across the globe.
Additionally Dr. Dongo previously served as the Associate Director of Research at Georgia State University's Center for Studies on Africa and Its Diaspora as well as a Visiting Lecturer of Political Science, Sociology, and Africana Studies. Dr. Dongo has served on several Advisory Boards for domestic and international non-profits focusing on literacy, education, health and environmental conservation.
Currently, Dr. Dongo is a political and policy advisor, advising several international ambassadors on educational and environmental policy changes to help shape key components of their country's most important initiatives.
Dr. Dongo received her law degree, cum laude, from North Carolina Central University and her Ph.D in Political Science with a concentration in Comparative Politics and International Relations from Georgia State University. Dr. Dongo has several peer-reviewed publications including, but not limited to, the University of Michigan Press, Oxford Handbook Press, Routledge Press, and the United States Census Bureau (read here).

Dr. Sing Hui Lee
Dr. Sing Hui Lee is our Director of Research and Educational Partnerships, where she leads research initiatives in youth studies and education and builds strategic partnerships between academic institutions and community organizations to advance evidence-based solutions for global challenges. A political scientist by training, she holds advanced degrees in Political Science (Georgia State University), International Relations (Xiamen University), and International Law (University of Hull Law School).
With over a decade of international academic experience, Dr. Lee’s research focuses on international security, global economics, digital engagement, and Asian youth studies. She also explores topics like AI ethics, AI policies and AI success in higher education, and sustainability. Her work with students is known for its innovative approach to curriculum development and mentorship.
Dr. Lee's community impact includes her work with Daisy Alliance and Rise and Inspire Foundation, where she builds partnerships that strengthen collaborative initiatives and connect diverse populations. She develops educational initiatives that address contemporary challenges such as food insecurity, mental health, digital divide, and digital innovation for institutional success. Fluent in Chinese, Cantonese, English, and Malay, Dr. Lee uses her multilingual skills to enhance her partnerships across different cultures. Her vision is to create lasting community impact by connecting academic excellence with practical application.
